The construction pattern of this solid color N1 jacket is a reproduction of a rare model of the U.S. Navy olive colored N-1 Deck Jacket made of back satin outer shell instead of jungle cloth, labeled as "CONTRACT N5SX 1489", with exacting details. This basic N-1 jacket combines all those historical characteristics and details with a modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The fabric of this simple N-1 jacket is made up of 2 layers. This blank N1 jacket is constructed from a 100% cotton satin-backed (back sateen) weave outer shell in olive color with a blend of alpaca and wool pile fur lining in body and sleeves for added warmth. Outer shell : 100% cotton satin-backed (back sateen) outer shell. Non-stretch, tightly woven satin-backed fabric with a slubby and rough-hewn texture and rugged appearance and uneven surface from horizontal lines on the face of the fabric. It is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. Compared to the jungle cloth (cotton grosgrain) normally used for the N-1, the back satin N-1 is more lightweight and natural softness, allowing for easy movement and mobility.

Lining shell for body and sleeves : Made with a blend of alpaca and wool pile fur. 50% alpaca and 50% wool blended pile grayish-brown-hued color fur lining. This lining provides great warmth to the wearer. Suitable for fall and winter seasons.

Placket type : Front zipper closure. The front closes with a zipper. Vintage-style TALON zipper closure with button-front wind flap protector (storm flap) located in front of zipper closure. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front. A self-fabric tab on zipper for easy functioning with gloves. Buttons are Mil Specs Urea.

Collar : Accented with fur sherpa panel collar with backing cotton satin-backed fabric to maintain collar shape and help keep collar up when the need arises. The left side collar has a throat latch (neck strap, chin strap, throat tab). And one concealed buttons under the right collar allow the throat latch to be buttoned across the neck. This throat latch is used for in foul weather to provide added protection to the lower part of the face with the collar-upturned. You can also hide a throat latch with throat tab keeper button underneath left collar, when you do not use a throat tab.

Cuff type : The sleeve openings are lined with a inset rib to protect from the cold wind. Wool-knit cuffs hidden up inside the sleeve openings. Piping Trim Cuff : The edges of the sleeve openings are piped with corduroy taping for reinforcement.

Pocket : Two external single welt slanted hand-warmer pockets on the waist.
